About the event

How do the seasons of Nature effect your life? Do you feel the rhythm of the earth through the seasons in your body?

Join our walk to explore and feel the flow of the seasons, reconnect to their power in your life when you bring awareness to their gifts.

Our Intention

Walking with awareness and other women is liberating.

Our Intention for this walk is to create an opportunity for women to rediscover themselves physically, mentally and spiritually.

To reconnect with nature and experience a real oneness with the environment around you.

To unlock parts of yourself that perhaps you have neglected, suppressed and ignored.

To Feel strong within yourself, knowing that you have all the tools you need inside you to live a beautiful and creative life.

You are whole and worthy as you are.

So lets  have some fun as wonderful women on the journey of reconnection.

What’s happening when?

8:30am  Arrive at trailhead car park for safety brief and body scan meditation and movement.

9:00am A 2.5km silent mindful walk through a gorgeous green landscape.

10am Sharing circle, tea, cocao and treats around the fire

11:30am Start our 2.5km social return walk to the carpark

12:30pm Return to car park

What to wear:

• Layered clothes or active-wear to allow for cooler morning but warmer as the sun rises and your body is moving.

• Walking shoes

Note: It may be chilly , usually several degrees cooler than Brisbane. It is recommended to use the clothing 'layering' strategy. A shirt followed by a thermal, then a fleece jumper and finally a windproof layer or spray jacket. You will warm up during the walk but then cool down when inactive at the lookout. Having multiple layers allows you to regulate your temperature more easily.

What to take on the walk:

Daypack with the following items:

• Water bottle

• Insect repellent

• Camping mug

• Warm jacket and hat

You may want to also bring your journal and a pen if you have one.

Things to note:

Walking distances: 2.5km each way along undulating trail.

There are no bathroom facilities at the venue so go before you arrive. If you need 'to go' during the activity then your guide will have toilet paper for ‘bush wees’.

The event will continue if cloud cover is expected. It will still be a wonderful walk through beautiful forest. If there is a high likelihood of rain forecast we will postpone or cancel the event. We will notify you at least 24hrs prior to the event if it is postponed or cancelled.

Note: a full refund will be provided in the event of an unlikely cancellation.
