Sunset & Full Moonrise with Eclipse Mindful Hike with Dinner

Unplug and connect with nature, yourself and others! 

A mindful evening walk to witness an amazing event. Both sunset and  a full moon rise with Eclipse from the same idyllic mountain vantage point. 

Our journey begins a short 10min drive from the village of Mt Glorious. A 2.5km walk along a picturesque trail through the tall Eucalypts will bring us to a unique vantage point.  If the weather permits, we can see both the sun set over the Great Dividing Range and the moon rise over Moreton Bay. We'll invite you to participate in some simple guided mindfulness practices to heighten your sensory awareness and connection with nature.

According to astronomical calculations, the sun will set and the moon will rise moon at approximately 6pm with the total eclipse happening around 9pm. For anyone wanting to stay behind to experience the total Eclipse a guide will wait with you. 

Dinner will be served around a warming campfire as we watch the full moon rise through the majestic mountain blue gums. Vegan, GF, nut free.

This is a family friendly alcohol free event. Active older children that are familiar with bushwalking are welcome.

After dinner, we'll retrace our footsteps by moon and torch light, returning to the carpark around  9pm.
