About the event

Join me on a 4-week journey meeting each Friday from the 21st of April until the 12th of May to explore yourself as a woman, guided by the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Nature is our greatest teacher and a mirror to reflect the beauty within us.

This journey is designed for women who seek stillness, connection to their inner wisdom, and guidance towards a purposeful life that they truly love.

Each week, we'll gather to enjoy a walk-in nature and be guided through meditation and mindfulness practices. We'll then sit in circle to share our inner wisdom and knowledge inspired by the element of focus for that week.

Week 1 – Earth

"When you realize Heart and Earth are spelled with the same letters, it all starts to make sense." Mother Earth will guide you through a heart-opening experience if you lean in and listen deeply.

We'll walk the trail of Dawson's Creek and sit on the earth under the ancient fairy tree to open our hearts while being held and supported by the Earth and the women beside us.

What to bring:

  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Journal and pen

Week 2 – Water

"The mind is like water. When it is turbulent, it is difficult to see. When it is calm, everything becomes clear." "Empty your mind, be formless and shapeless - like water." - Bruce Lee

Water will guide you through a process of letting go and embracing flow.

We'll rock-hop up Cedar Creek, follow the creek, and learn the ways of water. We'll immerse ourselves in a journey of letting go and clearing the noise in our mind to open the wisdom of water deep within our bodies.

What to bring:

  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Swimmers or change of clothes
  • Towel
  • Journal and pen

Week 3 – Fire

"Those who have walked through fire leave sparks of light everywhere they go." Fire destroys but also allows new life to spring forth. It warms when we're cold, it creates light in darkness. Fire will curiously guide us into the contrasts within ourselves, giving us the opportunity to play with aspects of ourselves that may be different from how we are perceived day-to-day. We'll burn away the layers to reveal new growth that lies beneath.

We'll enjoy a night under the full moon camping at a secluded campsite at Mount Glorious. We'll hike in to a beautiful clearing where we'll sit in a circle around the fire, allowing the flames to burn away the old and reveal the new growth underneath. It'll be an evening to meet your wild and wonderful self. We'll cook together on the fire to nourish our bodies and sleep in tents under the full moon. We'll share breakfast and then hike back down the mountain on Saturday morning.

The cost of the food and camp fees will be split between the group for this retreat. We'll supply dinner, breakfast, and tents.

What to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Sleeping mat and sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Spare clothes
  • Warm clothes
  • Snacks
  • Bowl, fork, and spoon
  • Mug
  • Head torch

Please pack as light as possible since you'll need to carry the pack into the site. If you don't have these items or can't borrow them, please let me know, as we have some you can use.

Week Four - Air

Air is an element that moves us. It can be a gentle breeze that nourishes us or a violent hurricane that forces us to hold our breath. Despite being invisible, air holds a vast array of sacred symbolism, such as communication, breath, and life. When we consider how air interacts with our senses, we can experience nature in a way that helps us become more present and sensitive to the world around us.

During this week's journey, we will embrace the air moving through our lungs as we walk up Camp Mountain to the lookout. There, we will share in a circle how air has moved us through our lives and what our next direction may be.

What to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Hat
  • Journal and pen

Each week wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes, we will proceed in light rain.

Contribution through Sacred Economics - The Gift Economy

This is a four-week journey for women to come together in nature, connect, share, learn, and grow. I am passionate about being in nature, and in this time, it is my purpose to serve people in a way that connects them to nature, themselves, and other like-minded people.

Life is a gift and sharing our lives with one another and creating community helps us all thrive. For me, the gift is being able to continue in my growth and journey with beautiful women who support and hold me in the same way I support and hold them. It is a gift to share my knowledge and practices with others so they may connect more with themselves. This will be a nourishing journey, and it fills my heart with love to offer it to each woman who feels called to commit to the process.

If, after each week, you feel gratitude for the experience you have had and it has been valuable to you, you may wish to offer a monetary contribution. This amount may be different for each woman or nothing at all. This act of giving and receiving welcomes us into a different way of being. Our worth is not held in the money we earn or the positions we hold. We are worthy regardless. I desire for offerings to be available to all women.

The act of giving from a place that feels meaningful to you invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself and your desires. It tunes your intuition and enlivens the act of gratitude in your life. This way of contribution may feel challenging at first, but I invite you into the uncomfortable and to see the beauty of what comes when we give love, appreciation, and gratitude a voice in our lives.
