Samford Valley, Dawson Creek Rd, Highvale QLD 4520, Australia

About the event

This walk is for little adventurers 0-7 years-old and their caregivers to immerse themselves in a sensory journey of play and connection with each other and nature.

Nature stimulates all the senses at any age, even the little babies will spend time just looking up at the lights and shadows and often will fall asleep more calmly after the experience of being outdoors.

Nature is our greatest teacher, it encourages us to be curious and explore the world around us. We learn about how the world works and how we are connected to it. When children immerse themselves in nature, they explore, discover, take risks and learn about themselves, others, and the natural world

Dawson Creek trail is a beautiful natural setting where the gentle flowing creek meanders through native bush land. The trail is an easy and accessible walk for little legs or caregivers with bubs in carriers.

The intention for the walk is for caregivers to practice the skill of pure presence with your child, exploring nature and the world through their eyes. Come along and give yourself the gift of present moment awareness, and your child the gift of your pure undistracted attention.

This is an experience that will fill your cup! Feel the pure joy, love and connection with your child by simply being together.

Thanks to Moreton Bay Regional Council for sponsoring this event!
